POSITION SUMMARY: An Andersen Windows and Doors Field Service Technician travels to customer homes to diagnose, repair, and resolve warranty or performance issues on installed windows and doors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Repairs & Service: Dismantle, adjust, and fix previously installed windows, doors, sashes, hardware, screens, locks, and trim.Diagnostics: Troubleshoot product performance concerns, air leaks, and water infiltration to find root causes.Customer Care: Communicate professionally with homeowners, set clear expectations, and resolve difficult onsite situations.Documentation: Complete electronic service reports, job assessments, and expense tracking using mobile apps or company systems.Travel: Drive to various customer locations and job sites.Order parts or products, as needed, to repair and resolve the issue. Check stock availability.
