Job Description

Overview

As a Seasonal Passenger Service Agent at Swissport International AG in Anchorage, Alaska, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience in the aviation industry. Your responsibilities will include various passenger services such as ticketing, baggage processing, and assisting passengers with special needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide all required passenger/customer services including reservations and ticketing
  • Manage passenger baggage processing and assist with fee calculations
  • Issue boarding passes and handle rescheduling due to flight interruptions
  • Assist passengers through arrival and check-in processes
  • Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine
  • Make public address announcements as required
  • Produce all required work-related documentation
  • Comply with security requirements and company policies

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills in country specific language
  • Passionate about customer service with relevant work experience
  • Ability to follow processes and apply flexible approaches
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and numerate skills
  • Familiarity with airline specific computer reservation/ticketing software
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather
