Overview

Swissport International AG is seeking a Part-Time Seasonal Passenger Service Agent for their operations in Eagle River, Alaska. This role involves providing essential customer services in the aviation industry, including handling reservations, ticketing, and passenger assistance, while promoting a better customer experience aligned with Swissport's core values.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide passenger/customer services including reservations, ticketing, and baggage processing
  • Greet arriving passengers and assist with special needs such as unaccompanied minors and wheelchair assistance
  • Issue boarding passes and manage passenger baggage processing
  • Make public address announcements as required
  • Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine
  • Operate equipment including the jet way and reservation/ticketing software
  • Comply with all security requirements and Swissport policies
  • Assist Ramp Service Agents with loading and delivery of checked items
  • Produce required work-related documentation

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Relevant work experience in customer service
  • Excellent communication skills in the specific country language
  • Ability to use airline specific computer reservation/ticketing software
  • Attention to detail and numerate skills
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and self-motivation
