Overview

Swissport International AG is seeking a full-time ANC Ramp Agent in Anchorage, Alaska, to provide essential under-wing ground support services, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and servicing aircraft. This role is integral to ensuring an exceptional customer experience in the fast-paced aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Unload passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts and dollies
  • Provide special handling of luggage and cargo as required
  • Deliver passenger luggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system
  • Drive and operate ground support equipment
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it
  • Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
  • Comply with all security requirements

Required skills

  • Previous ramp experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Excellent Health & Safety awareness
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds
