Overview

Swissport International AG is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Ramp Agents in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, you will provide essential ground support services, contributing to the global aviation industry by ensuring a seamless experience for passengers and cargo.

Key responsibilities

  • Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Unload passenger luggage and air cargo
  • Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required
  • Deliver passenger luggage to claim area
  • Drive and operate ground support equipment
  • Service aircraft water and lavatories
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it
  • Report equipment malfunctions
  • Comply with security requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Good command of the English language
  • Previous ramp experience (a plus)
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Flexibility for various shifts
  • Excellent Health & Safety awareness
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds
