Overview

Swissport International AG is seeking a dedicated ANC Fueling/Refuse Agent to provide essential under-wing ground support services in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including fueling ground support equipment, marshalling aircraft, and handling luggage and cargo, all while adhering to safety and operational protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide international trash/refuse servicing
  • Re-fuel ground support equipment (GSE)
  • Assist ramp operations as requested
  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Unload passenger luggage and air cargo
  • Deliver special handling of luggage/cargo as required
  • Drive and operate various ground support equipment
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove it
  • Report equipment malfunctions
  • Comply with all relevant security requirements

Required skills

  • Previous ramp experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Flexible to work various shifts
  • Excellent health and safety awareness
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)
