Job Description

Overview

Swissport International AG is seeking a dedicated ANC Fueling/Refuse Agent to provide under-wing ground support services in Eagle River, Alaska. The role involves various responsibilities associated with loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshaling, and servicing ground support equipment, all aimed at enhancing the customer experience in the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform international trash/refuse servicing
  • Refuel all ground support equipment (GSE)
  • Assist ramp operations as requested
  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Unload passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts or dollies
  • Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required
  • Drive and operate various ground support equipment
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove when found
  • Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
  • Comply with all security requirements

Required skills

  • Previous ramp experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Excellent Health & Safety awareness
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)
