Job Description

Overview

Ciao is looking for a central analyst-programmer specializing in COBOL to connect business needs with technological solutions. This role involves integrating into a dynamic team focused on developing systems and ensuring client satisfaction through expertise and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Familiarize with functional architecture documents and product backlog
  • Consult with users to address their needs
  • Create and modify functional documentation
  • Perform unit and functional testing
  • Present and validate functional documentation with users
  • Correct anomalies in functional documents before production
  • Assist users in preparing acceptance tests, strategies, and case inventories, while monitoring test progression and correcting issues

Required skills

  • College diploma in Information Technology
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as an analyst-programmer
  • At least 5 years of experience with COBOL in large organizations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with at least two of the following: DMS, CICS, TSO/ISPF, FILE-AID
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a structured development methodology such as DMR-2
  • At least 2 years of experience in drafting design documents and performing functional tests on central systems
