Overview

Olymel is seeking a Business Activities Planning Analyst to join their dynamic team. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in an active work environment and enjoy collaboration, contributing to the effectiveness and quality of operations within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the official review and validation of 12-month rolling sales forecasts according to the S&OP cycle.
  • Prepare analyses and documents to support account managers in establishing, publishing, and following up on sales forecasts.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and make sales forecast recommendations.
  • Produce various analysis reports on performance and inventory to support launch plans and transitions.
  • Highlight discrepancies versus the plan and ensure precision in sales forecasts.
  • Act as support during strategic sales meetings.
  • Coordinate special mandates for validating commercial needs for capacity analysis.
  • Serve as a point of contact for specific internal processes and documentation.
  • Participate in special projects as needed by the department.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills and ability to manage multiple data sources
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Tableau, or AS400 is an asset
  • Familiarity with the S&OP process
  • Bilingualism in French and English
