Overview

Ciao is seeking a Functional Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team in Quebec. The role involves participating in various IT development projects, focusing on functional analysis, quality assurance, and supporting users during system tests and production.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in workshops to clarify needs
  • Analyze applicable functional solutions
  • Draft functional documentation
  • Support programming and functional analysis work
  • Conduct levels of system testing, preparing specifications and data
  • Ensure quality assurance
  • Assist users during system testing and production
  • Implement functional solutions
  • Provide support for production and post-implementation
  • Collaborate on estimating and prioritizing product backlog stories
  • Participate in writing user stories

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, mathematics, or applied sciences
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in IT
  • 3 to 8 years of experience as a functional analyst
  • Familiarity with Web N-Tiers environment based on Microsoft .Net
  • Proficiency in Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
  • Experience with the Macroscope methodology
  • Agile methodology expertise
