Why you'll love this job Responsible for working with management, end-users and other American Airlines team members to answer data related questions, address concerns, and coordinate enhancements to support cargo revenue accounting and corporate projects. You will be involved in data analysis/reporting, identifying issues, proposing solutions, coordinating and contributing to the implementation of proposed solutions.The role is a part of the Finance team within our Finance group. What you'll do This position will report to the manager of Cargo Revenue accounting. Duties to include but not limited to:Management of revenue and receivable for all postal administration accounts - including invoicing, payment application, discrepancy resolutionHeavy contact with postal customersAudit of AA's cargo billing portal on a weekly basisReconciliation and application of payments received via 3 lockboxes that are not automatically appliedResearch and analysis into overpayment claims for customers paying by credit cardIdentification, analysis and capture of revenue not captured through normal channelsReporting, tracking, and managing system defects related to the iCargo systemBack up to L3/L4 Analyst Ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrevious accounting/finance experienceDemonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines concurrently and successfullyStrong data mining skills as well as very strong skills in Microsoft Access and/or other database systemsTeam player with strong interpersonal, presentation and written communication skiStrong PC skills including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPointStrong Presentation skillsAptitude for problem solving with strong analytical and accounting skillsAbility to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop creative solutions to challenges Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience/trainingKnowledge of Mosaic, Power BI, TableauExperience with iCargo system What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
