Job Description

Overview

CPR Tampa is seeking qualified medical professionals to join as BLS, ACLS, and PALS Instructors. This part-time, contract position allows for flexible scheduling while offering competitive pay for teaching lifesaving courses.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses
  • Teach a minimum of 5 classes per month, including 2 weekend sessions and 2 evening classes
  • Provide high-quality, hands-on healthcare training
  • Submit availability for teaching dates at least 12 weeks in advance
  • Commit to an initial 18-month instructor contract

Required skills

  • Medical License (Paramedic, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, CRNA, APRN with ICU, ER, or Telemetry experience)
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
  • PALS certification preferred, training provided if not certified
  • AHA instructor certification (training provided if not already certified)
