Overview

As an Aluminum Welder at Adams Thermal Systems in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, you will perform welding operations to produce high-quality components for cooling systems. This role involves both team-oriented and individual production work, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate production line welding stations and perform product assembly
  • Troubleshoot and maintain production line welding stations
  • Perform equipment and set-up change-overs as needed
  • Ensure quality control by making adjustments and rejecting non-compliant products
  • Complete daily production logs
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production line machinery
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Assist maintenance and manufacturing engineers
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Required skills

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of production welding experience
  • Demonstrated Tig and Mig welding skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
