Overview

The ALTA Project Manager at Windrose Surveying & Land Services LLC will oversee project management for ALTA surveying, focusing on client communication, execution planning, and quality assurance in Texas. This role entails high-level project coordination and problem-solving to ensure timely and accurate survey deliverables, with a commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ALTA survey projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with the Business Unit Leader to establish new projects and define scope.
  • Maintain timely and accurate client communication regarding project progress.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Field Operations, Survey Technicians, and the drafting team.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly project meetings.
  • Perform final review and validation of survey data.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for survey documents and deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate project records and financial coordination.
  • Ensure timely delivery of survey data and relevant files to clients.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
  • Visit job sites as necessary.

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in Survey-related studies
  • 2+ years of project management experience in the surveying industry
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Texas preferred
  • Proficiency in CAD, Carlson OEM, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Experience using cloud-based project management tools
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
