Source Medical, LLC. is seeking an experienced Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant to join their growing practice in Palm Desert, California. This full-time role involves conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide quality care in an innovative environment focused on allergy and immunology.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions
  • Administer and manage immunotherapy and relevant treatments
  • Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including allergists and immunologists
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice as it transitions from dermatology to encompass allergy, asthma, and immunology

Required skills

  • Board Certified with an active state license
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
  • Minimum of three years of experience in treating allergy patients
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
