Job Description

Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant role is focused on providing neonatal care as part of a large, collaborative team of Neonatologists and Nurse Practitioners. This full-time, permanent position includes flexible shift options and responsibilities in overseeing neonatal patients in various care settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide neonatal intensive care across Level III-IV NICUs and Level II Special Care Nurseries
  • Attend deliveries alongside Neonatologists
  • Manage NICU patients and perform daily rounds in Level II units
  • Collaborate on patient care plans with Neonatologists
  • Respond to emergencies with in-house availability

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Board Certified NNP
  • Active AZ license (or willing to obtain)
  • DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)
  • 2+ years of NNP experience
  • Clinical skills in patient management and critical care
