Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant position at Summit Recruiting Group is based in Denison, Texas, focusing on comprehensive care within a new 12-bed Level III NICU. The role entails collaborating with a dedicated care team, managing day-to-day patient care, and participating in multi-disciplinary rounds.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to NICU and newborn nursery patients
  • Attend deliveries and manage day-to-day operations in the NICU
  • Manage ventilator and nutrition for patients
  • Conduct lab reviews and family meetings
  • Utilize high-frequency ventilation methods and therapeutic hypothermia

Required skills

  • Must be a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • Current or eligible Texas APRN license
  • NRP and BLS certification
  • Prior NICU experience preferred
  • Experience with Cerner EMR
