Overview

Summit Recruiting Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position in Denison, Texas, to provide comprehensive care in a new Level III NICU. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing day-to-day operations of NICU and newborn nursery patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend deliveries and manage day-to-day NICU and newborn nursery care
  • Conduct ventilator and nutrition management
  • Perform lab reviews and facilitate family meetings
  • Utilize high-frequency ventilation (HFOV and HFJV), inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
  • Engage in pediatric surgery procedures, with no cardiac surgery or ECMO support

Required skills

  • Current or eligible Texas APRN license
  • NRP and BLS certification
  • Prior NICU experience preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
