Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant role at Summit Recruiting Group involves providing locum coverage in an established high-volume neurosurgery team in Tampa, Florida. The position requires inpatient rounding, call coverage, and working with both adult and pediatric neurosurgery patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient rounding and call coverage for neurosurgery patients
  • Act as a First Assist in surgical procedures
  • Participate in weekend and night call rotations
  • Collaborate with a team of neurosurgeons and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Ensure completion of clinical documentation

Required skills

  • Active Florida license
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Neurosurgery or First Assist experience
  • Inpatient neurosurgery experience
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR
