Overview

Source Medical, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Neurosurgery team at a tertiary care facility in Norfolk, VA. The role involves providing neurosurgical care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide neurosurgical care across ED, NCCU, trauma, and medical floors
  • Participate in a rotating schedule, including occasional nights and weekends
  • Perform emergent bedside procedures
  • Work as part of a collaborative team with neurosurgeons and APPs

Required skills

  • Licensed NP/PA in Virginia (or eligibility)
  • Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery or neuro-critical care experience (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex patients in both inpatient and emergent settings
  • EHR proficiency, specifically with Epic
