Overview

WhiteCap Search is looking for an Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant to join their hospital-based Hematology/Oncology team in Poughkeepsie, New York. This permanent, outpatient role requires collaboration with physicians and nurses to provide comprehensive oncology treatment care to patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of patients
  • Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs
  • Write orders within the limits of the practice agreement
  • Maintain clinical documentation according to group practice
  • Participate in clinical quality and research as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans

Required skills

  • Oncology experience
  • Hematology experience
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification
  • Board Certified (BC) and New York license
