Overview

The Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant position at Summit Recruiting Group is a full-time, permanent role located in Boston, Massachusetts, that focuses on providing guidance and support to nursing staff and other disciplines in a community hospital setting. The role entails collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop patient care programs and educating both patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patient care plans and total needs, including pre-admission and post-discharge scenarios.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to develop effective patient care programs.
  • Identify educational needs for patients and staff and prioritize educational programs.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary education programs and provide clinical precepting for nursing and medical students.

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner License
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • 0-1 years related work experience
  • MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN
  • Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experience in a NICU setting (preferred)
  • Certification by the NCC (preferred)
