Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to work in their state-of-the-art 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Aiea, Hawaii. The role involves responding to alarm signals, managing events, and ensuring effective communication with emergency services and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals using automation software
  • Notify authorities and update emergency contacts as necessary
  • Log all information accurately into the automation system
  • Answer calls on a multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Teamwork and continuous improvement attitude
