Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to join their team in Pearl City, Hawaii. This full-time position operates within a 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center, responsible for responding to alarm signals, managing alarm events, and ensuring clients receive the necessary support during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals according to documented procedures
  • Manage alarm events and verify security information
  • Notify and update emergency services such as fire and police agencies
  • Log all information accurately into the automation system
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
