Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to join their Alarm Monitoring Center in Fort Shafter, Hawaii. This role involves responding to alarm signals, managing security information, and coordinating with emergency services while providing excellent customer service in a high-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to all incoming alarm signals according to documented procedures
  • Notify authorities and call the list of contacts when necessary
  • Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately
  • Answer calls on a multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing skills of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Urgent and accurate performance of duties
