Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to work in their 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Aiea, Hawaii. The role involves responding to alarm signals, managing alarm events, and ensuring emergency services are notified, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals in automation software according to procedures
  • Notify authorities and contacts when appropriate
  • Log all information into the automation system accurately
  • Answer the multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing at least 30 words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in urgent situations
