Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to work in their 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center in Pearl City, Hawaii. This role involves responding to alarm signals efficiently and providing exceptional service to customers while managing alarm events and coordinating with emergency services.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals using automation software according to documented procedures
  • Notify authorities and contacts as necessary during alarm events
  • Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • 1-3 years' work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform duties with urgency
