Overview

Securitas Technology is seeking an Alarm Monitoring Operator I to join their team at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. This role involves working in a 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center to respond to alarm signals, manage alarm events, and provide exceptional service to customers, including notifying emergency services as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals according to documented procedures
  • Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately
  • Answer multi-line telephone system
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer information
  • Notify authorities and customer contacts when necessary

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • 1-3 years' work experience
  • Ability to type 30+ words a minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and urgency
