Overview

The Aircrew Rescue Swimmer & Navy Diver role involves joining an elite community within the U.S. Navy to perform critical missions both in the air and underwater. As an enlisted aircrew member and Navy diver, you will undertake helicopter sea rescues, engage in underwater search and salvage operations, and support various Navy operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate as enlisted aircrew during flight operations
  • Perform helicopter sea rescues and advanced first aid
  • Execute underwater search, salvage, and security missions
  • Inspect, cut, weld, and repair ships and submarines
  • Conduct deep and saturation diving using various systems
  • Operate and supervise hyperbaric chamber treatments
  • Plan and conduct demolition tasks
  • Maintain and repair specialized diving and survival equipment
