Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician IV A&P at Gulfstream Aerospace in Brunswick, GA is responsible for performing various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, including repair, replacement, and modification of aircraft components. This role requires a strong background in avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems, along with a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft
  • Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA requirements
  • Complete work order sign-offs and other paperwork in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
  • Tag and securely store aircraft components and customer property
  • Operate ground support equipment according to standard procedures
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies
  • Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep work areas clean
  • Coordinate movement of aircraft as required
