Job Description

Overview

Airbus Canada Limited Partnership is seeking pre-flight mechanical inspectors for the A220 commercial aircraft program based in Mirabel, Quebec. This position is suitable for individuals with experience in the aerospace sector or those motivated to develop new skills, offering a dynamic work environment located near the vibrant city of Montreal.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of airframes, engines, and functional equipment of the aircraft to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Approve aircraft or components within authority.
  • Manage all files, registrations, and regulations applicable to the aircraft.
  • Maintain logbooks of aircraft for quality audits.
  • Perform other related functions depending on experience and qualifications.

Required skills

  • D.C.S. or A.C.S. in Aircraft Maintenance or M2 license
  • 5 years of experience as a preflight mechanic in the aerospace sector
  • Experience working in enclosed spaces and at heights up to 30 feet
  • Ability to adopt and maintain different physical positions as required by the job
  • Demonstrated autonomy and initiative in a multidisciplinary team environment
