Overview

Airbus Atlantique Canada Inc. is seeking an Agent Méthodes Configuration to join their team in Mirabel, Quebec. The successful candidate will work closely with the production sector to provide technical support and ensure the mastery of assembly lines for aerospace products, contributing to the company's mission of excellence in aerostructures and related fields.

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret, verify, and approve engineering drawings and documents
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
  • Prepare and present project proposals for validation with various functions
  • Lead project follow-up meetings and maintain project tracking files
  • Update performance indices and manage project phases from feasibility to production
  • Harmonize and implement engineering changes or assembly strategies
  • Manage change requests during project execution

Required skills

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or aerospace manufacturing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in methods, preferably in the aerospace sector
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and capabilities analysis tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards
  • Experience in creating or interpreting manufacturing ranges
  • Proficiency in tolerancing and dimensioning principles
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and Catia V5
  • Strong communication skills in French and English, spoken and written
