Overview

The Family Advocacy Program Assistant (FAPA) at Offutt AFB, NE, is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP). FAPAs act as the administrative backbone of the FAP team, assisting with a variety of tasks including records management, computer support, and program outreach activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Family Advocacy Officer (FAO)
  • Manage records and documentation for the Family Advocacy Program
  • Support meeting preparation and follow-up activities
  • Assist in research and evaluation tasks related to family advocacy
  • Administer and score instruments related to secondary prevention and maltreatment intervention
  • Engage in public speaking with Commanders, First Sergeants, and expectant parents
