Outlier AI is seeking an AI Agent Developer to contribute to the development of advanced autonomous agents. The role involves collaborating with leading AI organizations to enhance Large Language Models and improve their functionality as proactive, multi-step agents, while focusing on complex architectural workflows.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation
  • Collaborate to train and enhance Large Language Models
  • Design, coordinate, and optimize complex real-world workflows
  • Provide clear and high-density technical feedback on system behaviors

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in backend engineering or AI automation
  • Strong command of Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Practical experience with multi-turn interactions
  • Ability to integrate agents with live tools and APIs
  • Attention to detail and experience providing technical feedback
