Job Description

Overview

CPR St. Louis is seeking qualified medical professionals to join their team as AHA Instructors for BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses. This part-time, contract position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to train both healthcare providers and community members in lifesaving techniques.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses
  • Commit to teaching at least 5 dates per month, including 2 weekend dates
  • Teach 2 evening classes per month
  • Submit availability at least 12 weeks before the events

Required skills

  • Medical License (Paramedic, RN, NP, CRNA, or APRN with ICU, ER, or Telemetry experience)
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Ability to become AHA-certified instructor if not already certified
