Overview

CPR Nashville is seeking qualified medical professionals to join their team as AHA Instructors for BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses. This role involves teaching lifesaving skills in a flexible environment and offers the chance to make a significant impact on healthcare providers and community members.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses
  • Provide hands-on healthcare training in a stress-free environment
  • Ensure compliance with AHA standards and guidelines
  • Commit to teaching at least 5 dates per month, including weekend and evening classes
  • Submit availability 12 weeks in advance

Required skills

  • Medical License (Paramedic, RN, NP, CRNA, or APRN with relevant experience)
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
  • PALS certification preferred or willingness to obtain with provided training
  • Public speaking and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in patient care and emergency response
