Overview

The AgTech Program Manager at the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources will manage the California AgTech Alliance, focused on promoting commercialization and innovation in California's agrifood sector. This role involves overseeing grant processes, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements while supporting industry partnerships to enhance the region's AgTech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the CA AgTech Alliance network and coordinate engagement with stakeholders.
  • Operationalize the Innovation Grants Program and coordinate application processes.
  • Facilitate Innovation Grant application and review cycles.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking metrics and preparing reports.
  • Conduct research on prospective alliance members and support outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate CA AgTech events and maintain communication channels.

Required skills

  • Experience in industry alliance development and innovation ecosystem coordination.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex programs.
