Overview

The Agronomy Operations Assistant Manager at Mid Kansas Cooperative will manage the agronomy operation in the absence of the operations manager. The role includes overseeing sales and delivery of agricultural products, performing soil testing, training employees, and enhancing customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage agronomy operations in the absence of the operations manager
  • Perform soil testing and fertilizer blending
  • Sales and delivery of fertilizer, crop protection products, and seeds
  • Train employees on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Increase market share through sales in assigned territory
  • Assist in planning of sales goals and marketing strategies
  • Provide soil testing and crop scouting services
  • Maintain inventory control of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizer
  • Write agronomy service orders and invoices for product deliveries
