Overview

SHD Composite Materials Inc is looking for a dynamic Aerospace Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and develop strategic customer relationships within the aerospace sector. This role requires extensive travel and offers an opportunity to work with advanced composite technologies in a leading company within the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial aerospace, defense, and emerging aviation sectors
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to business closure
  • Engage key decision-makers in aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and monitor market trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities
  • Promote advanced composite solutions and assist with customer onboarding
  • Analyze market trends and develop long-term account strategies
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage strategic partnerships

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of aerospace supply chains, OEMs, and MRO organizations
  • Knowledge of advanced composite materials and technical sales processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations and industry events
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields preferred
  • Experience with major aerospace OEMs and understanding of certification requirements
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to composites
