Overview

ElectriCom Inc is seeking an Aerial Lineman for utility construction work in Marshall, Texas. The role involves performing aerial and ground telecommunications tasks, operating aerial trucks, and leading a crew while ensuring safety and adherence to regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a boom truck and climb poles as needed
  • Lead and motivate crew to meet safety and production goals
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair overhead fiber lines
  • Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
  • Install poles and place wires and cables
  • Keep detailed record of work activity
  • Utilize bucket trucks and various tools for installation and construction tasks
  • Work both individually and in a team environment
  • Complete routine training as assigned

Required skills

  • 1+ years' experience in the utility/construction industry
  • Utility inspection experience preferred
  • Driver's license with clean driving record
  • Valid CDL strongly desired
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Understanding of safety regulations and construction techniques
  • Experience with telecommunications work
