Job Description Job Description Description: We are currently searching for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Advancement Intern. As an Intern, you will provide administrative support for the Office of Advancement, Special Events, and Marketing. This is an exciting, paid Internship providing an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of independent school advancement operations. The position will work 15-20 hours per week.Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining and updating donor and alumni databaseResearch alumni for updated job titles, addresses, etc.Assist advancement staff in event planning and coordination in preparation for fall and spring eventsPerform general administrative tasks such as scanning and filing to assist advancement staffAssist with the donor acknowledgment processResearch corporate sponsorship opportunities for upcoming eventsResearch matching gift opportunities for existing donors.Requirements: Undergraduate student preferredExperience in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word) and CanvaPossess great communication skillsHas a positive and energetic mindsetStrong attention to detailA self-starter who is accountable and able to effectively work in an office environmentExhibits a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidential and sensitive informationExperience in marketing and communications or development is a plusARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?All interested applicants applying for this position should submit their resume, cover letter, and salary requirements.Sewickley Academy is committed to having a community where all members are treated with dignity and respect.
