Overview

Aerodyne Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer - Mission Integration to support mission integration activities in Houston, Texas. This role involves developing a mission activity database and system mapping products for integrated mission analysis to aid in NASA's deep space exploration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a mission activity database and system mapping products
  • Build end-to-end mission and system mappings across multiple elements and interfaces
  • Support preparation of technical products for major integration reviews and milestone assessments
  • Translate engineering and operational concepts into structured analytical products
  • Reverse engineer existing technical information and workflows as needed
  • Coordinate with program leads and technical stakeholders to refine product content
  • Work across subsystem interfaces to ensure accurate representation of mission activities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering integration and interface management
  • Experience in engineering and operations/test environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting complex aerospace or mission-oriented systems
  • Ability to develop system logic and operational flow products
