Job Description

Overview

Aerodyne Industries is seeking an EA Technical Integration Engineer to support various human spaceflight programs including the ISS, Orion, Gateway, and Commercial Crew. This role involves ensuring the safe and successful integration of complex technical systems across mission phases while collaborating with diverse teams and maintaining compliance with NASA's safety and mission assurance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Function as a member of the Amentum Flight Safety Team.
  • Serve as a technical integrator across multiple spaceflight programs.
  • Coordinate engineering inputs across disciplines such as spacecraft systems and avionics.
  • Identify cross-program impacts and ensure integrated solutions for crew safety.
  • Support technical interchange meetings and integration forums.
  • Review safety analyses for multiple flight programs.
  • Evaluate design changes and new technologies for safety implications.
  • Support Safety Review Panels and track safety-related actions.
  • Produce technical documents including risk assessments and decision packages.
  • Bridge communication across diverse engineering and operational teams.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years flight hardware/systems experience.
  • Knowledge of systems safety disciplines.
  • Familiarity with NASA standards and payload requirements.
  • Experience with Spaceflight Safety certification.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in matrix team environments.
