Overview

The University of Cincinnati is seeking an Admissions Counselor for the College of Engineering & Applied Science. This role involves counseling prospective students, representing the university at recruitment events, and collaborating with various university offices to engage with first-time undergraduate and transfer students. The counselor will also plan and manage recruitment initiatives and events to meet enrollment goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students during the college application process
  • Represent the University at recruitment events and campus visits
  • Plan and execute recruitment events for incoming students
  • Conduct visits to high schools and attend recruitment fairs
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff from various departments
  • Review secondary applications for college admission
  • Manage a geographic territory to achieve enrollment goals
  • Make data-driven decisions for travel and outreach
  • Conduct presentations related to student recruitment and admission
  • Maintain student records using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Evaluate applications and make holistic admission decisions

Required skills
