Overview

The University of Cincinnati is seeking an Admissions Counselor for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The role involves counseling prospective students throughout the college application process and representing the university at various recruitment events. The Admissions Counselor will work collaboratively with team members to recruit both first-time undergraduate and transfer students, while also executing recruitment events and interacting with high schools and STEM groups.

Key responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students through the college application process
  • Represent the university at recruitment events and campus visits
  • Develop and execute small and large-scale recruitment events
  • Conduct visits to high schools and community colleges
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff on admissions initiatives
  • Serve and manage a geographic territory to meet enrollment goals
  • Make data-driven decisions for travel and recruitment activities
  • Conduct presentations on recruitment and admission processes
  • Maintain records and prepare reports using a CRM system
  • Evaluate applications for admission and make holistic decisions

Required skills
