Overview

The Administrator, Payroll (Part time) at Chico's FAS, Inc. plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for associates. This position requires collaboration with field and headquarters leadership to address pay issues while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist business partners and associates with pay-related issues
  • Entry and auditing of payroll items and adjustments
  • Update timecards for hours adjustments
  • Audit tax, banking, garnishment, and general payroll data
  • Administer Workers Compensation inquiries
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of employee compensation data

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of multi-jurisdictional payroll experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to process high volumes of data accurately
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with cloud-based HCM packages and major human capital management systems
  • Understanding of accounting principles and IRS tax rules
