Overview

The Administrator for Long Term Care at Avera St. Benedict's is responsible for managing the department's resources effectively to meet organizational goals. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring regulatory compliance, fiscal management, employee development, and maintaining high morale among staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direction and leadership in alignment with the organization's mission and philosophy.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage staffing, fiscal budgeting, and develop job descriptions.
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate personnel performance.
  • Establish and implement goals and strategies for the facility.
  • Act as spokesperson to the community, residents, and families.
  • Maintain high morale among staff and inspire teamwork.
  • Respond to changing workloads and provide direction in stressful situations.
