Administrative Assistant - Tax Department Support Location: Beachwood, OH Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday Occasional Overtime Are you a proactive professional who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and helping a team succeed? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Tax Department and play an important role in the day-to-day operations of a well-established professional services firm. This is more than a traditional administrative position. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, anticipates needs, manages multiple priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys finding solutions, improving processes, and contributing to the success of the entire team. What You'll Do Prepare, proofread, and format professional documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence Coordinate meetings, calendars, conference calls, and travel arrangements Manage incoming calls, emails, mail, and client communications Maintain electronic and physical files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality Assist with client onboarding and document management systems Support special projects and department initiatives Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations Provide backup support to reception and other administrative team members as needed Help identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and help where needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Preferred Qualifications Experience in a professional services environment Accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or financial services experience is a plus, but not required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Why Join Our Team?
