Adjustments Transaction ProcessorLocation: Onsite - Milwaukee, WIPay Rate: $17.50 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or until daily work is completed). Overtime may be required.Position OverviewThe Adjustments Transaction Processor is an entry-level, onsite role responsible for performing a variety of transaction processing and account adjustment activities. This position supports business operations through accurate data entry, document processing, and account reconciliation while following established procedures and guidelines.A typing assessment is required for this role.Typing Assessment RequirementA typing assessment (minimum 40 WPM) will be sent via email after application completionCandidates must also complete a typing assessment during the interview processKey ResponsibilitiesPost payments and adjustments to customer accountsResearch and resolve payment discrepanciesSet up debts and process account adjustmentsReissue checks; process stop payments and EFT paymentsRun and review reportsContact employers or payors to obtain additional payment informationPrepare and send letters and outbound correspondenceEnsure accounts are balanced prior to transmitting dataPerform high-accuracy data entry with discretionSort, image, archive, and classify documents by form typeIdentify documents and their purpose; create and maintain databasesCapture and verify data according to client and contract requirementsVerify data extracted from automated toolsTransmit processed data to the appropriate next levelComply with all company policies, procedures, and standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)Ability to pass a criminal background check Strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and follow detailed proceduresComfortable sitting for long periods while working at a computerStrong computer and data entry skillsQuick learner with the ability to multitaskExperience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, or accounts payable is preferredVocational training, certification, licensure, or equivalent experience may be required in some areasGeneral ProfileEntry-level role with limited requirements for licenses, training, or certificationsAbility to perform analytical and operational processesApplies learned skills and experience to complete assigned workWorks within established procedures and practicesReceives close supervision and guidanceFunctional KnowledgeBasic knowledge across a range of processes, procedures, and systemsBusiness & Interpersonal SkillsUnderstands how teams work together to achieve company goalsContributes positively through quality work and information sharingFollows standardized workflows and detailed task instructionsCommunicates information and ideas clearly and effectivelyProblem SolvingAble to solve routine problems independentlyLimited discretion beyond established procedures Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.
