Overview

The University of Cincinnati is seeking part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach mathematics courses at UC Blue Ash College. The role includes teaching at multiple levels, from developmental mathematics to calculus, and requires availability for in-person classes as well as participation in professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach assigned undergraduate mathematics courses on a part-time basis
  • Use course management systems and textbook-specific systems
  • Hold regular office hours to support students
  • Evaluate student coursework using best practices
  • Engage in ancillary activities to support teaching responsibilities
  • Respond timely to university-related and student communications

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field
  • At least 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in Mathematics or related field
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Knowledge of issues in math education and classroom technology
  • Experience teaching in a college setting
