Overview

Unibéton, a division of Ciment Québec, is seeking an Adjoint(e) Directeur(trice) commercialisation for the Est-du-Québec region. This role involves collaborating with management to develop and implement market and sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with sales processes. The position offers opportunities to work in a growth-oriented environment that values technological advancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement market and sales strategies
  • Stay informed about business opportunities and market trends
  • Negotiate and prepare bids, ensuring compliance with sales documentation
  • Monitor public and private bids
  • Visit job sites to ensure client needs are met
  • Work closely with the commercial director, schedulers, technical department, operations, and sales team members
  • Prepare various reports
  • Represent the company to industry associations
  • Perform other related administrative tasks

Required skills

  • University or college degree in business or related technical field or equivalent experience in sales and/or constructio
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
  • Expertise in sales territory development and growth
  • Good knowledge of construction and electronic bidding platforms
  • Experience working closely with general contractors and tracking project progress
  • Knowledge of the concrete industry (an asset)
  • Availability for travel within the Rive-Nord and Rive Sud regions of Quebec
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Excellent listening and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to work in a team and across various departments
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Networking skills within the construction industry
